I see more and more churches with the slogan “no perfect people allowed.” But I have to ask, if that is the slogan, why do we still show up to church and pretend to be perfect?

If no perfect people are allowed, what do they with Jesus?
Haha. Good point.
It’s a “gimmick”, a “slogan”, designed to disarm people so they will come and hear a message that is just as deceptive as that slogan. The bible says at Matthew 5: 48 ” Be perfect, therefore , as your heavenly Father is perfect “. Therefore , whoever is using that “slogan” is being deceptive. That doesn’t sound like a good introduction to truth and honesty.
